A.Background: The United Nations World Food Programme hereinafter referred to as the "WFP", which is represented in South Sudan by an Office located in Jebel Kujur, Juba, is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and workingwith communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. The WFP South Sudan seeks to pre-qualify reputable suppliers/vendors for selected categories of goods and services which may be required for its food assistance Programmein South Sudan. WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the selected categories of goods and services.B.The Purpose of this Request for EOI:4. The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to provide the selectedcategories of goods and services. Eligible suppliers will be pre-qualified for the WFP South Sudan roster of suppliers and can be invited to participate in the future bidding processes when WFP South Sudan intends to purchase goods and services from the selected categories.5.
