Country: South Sudan Description of the Assignment: UNDP Global Fund Project is recruiting a National Civil Engineer to support the Ministry of Health for the design, upgrading, and maintenance of health facilities and infrastructure. One of the major activities in the laboratory system strengthening intervention is the renovation of the Aweil Reference Laboratory. This renovation requires a careful assessment, architectural/civil design, quantification, and development of a bill of quantities. Additionally, a civil engineer will be responsible for assisting with the development of tender documents, reviewing quotations/bid analyses, and monitoring civil work. Furthermore, the project includes other civil works that require the expertise and knowledge of an engineer for the development of a bill of quantities, tendering, review of quotations, and monitoring of civil works. Period ofassignment/services April 2024 toMarch 2025. Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.
