• Tenders are invited for Consultancy for Conducting Participatory Resilience Analysis and Measurement (Pram) RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT: The following deliverables are expected from the consultant: To identify the major livelihood opportunities and services available in the identified localities, To identify the current and future drivers of vulnerability, their impact on livelihoods, To record and document indigenous knowledge, skills, abilities, behavior, practices, relationships and resources in relation to shifts in stabilities (war, climate variation and impact, etc.) in the area. To recommend the most appropriate options and approach(es) for enhancing resilience, reducing vulnerability, and of the determinants of resilience of individuals, households and communities in selected locations in South Sudan through analysis of “Resilience of who (households affected by undernutrition); Resilience to what (frequency and intensity of shocks and stresses); Vulnerability and Resilience capacities (exposure and sensitivity to shocks and stresses, capacity to anticipate, absorb, adapt and transform) and Resilience for what (preserving, restoring and enhancing food and nutrition security). Provide information that advice resilience-related programming in the area; communicate and capitalize on the improvement of Resilience Analysis (RA). Establish baseline values to measure the project-s impact on resilience; Represent and liaise with the authorities, the UN, NGOs and local partners Activities in link with Regional advisor 6. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ACF: Selection of qualified consultant for this role; Facilitate Visa process and transport to and from the assignment country and location within the country, accommodation and legal requirements in the Country; Ensure timely payment as agreed by consultant; Provide basic supplies to run the exercise and training venue; ACF will provide final validation of PRAM report prior final report; Disseminate report with other stakeholders in Country and out of the country HOW TO APPLY Open to both International and national (South Sudanese) applicants. One supporting document of up to four pages outlining core competencies in line with the assignment, the proposed methodology of work including a detailed work plan, and financial expectations.
